With Siniat’s Smartwall system, smooth internal walls can be created with a fast and efficient installation process, giving a finish that is easy to maintain and resistant to settling and cornice cracking. Smartwall is installed using Siniat Smartwall or Watershield plasterboard instead of traditional plaster. It arrives on site as full sheets and is measured and cut to size on site as required.

How is Smartwall installed?
The Smartwall system is installed using drywall lining rather than traditional plaster. The plasterboard arrives on site as full sheets and is measured and cut to size as required. Smartwall board is used for most applications in the home, with Watershield recommended for wet areas such as bathrooms and laundries to withstand moisture and humidity.

1. Prepare surface
Clean the bricks before installation of the Smartwall or Watershield board. Then apply Siniat’s Mastabond Masonry Adhesive directly to the wall at specific spacings.

2. Install Smartwall
Install Smartwall or Watershield boards. Cut around Window and door openings as required.

3. Finish surface
Flush and finish joints and corners, including a final sanding coat to ensure a clean and smooth finish.
